Sparrow Builders is a fifth generation family business, established in 1922 and built on over a century of experience and craftsmanship. Today, our father and son team bring a combined 63 years of experience to every project we undertake.
We specialise in bespoke one off homes, major renovations and substantial extensions across Wivenhoe, Colchester & Essex, with a commitment to exceptional workmanship, attention to detail and a personal approach from start to finish. As an experienced and highly skilled building contractor, we have the knowledge and capability to take on all projects and deliver them to the highest standard.

This was a major restoration project and they were absolute masters at everything that they put their hands to from beautiful brickwork, to general building, hanging doors and shelves, laying floors to decorating and so much more! They were a delight to have on board - always helpful and super respectful of our hotel and restaurant guests.
